Are you a Dad/Father Figure in the community looking to meet other Dads in the neighbourhood?
Then Super Dads, Super Kids is for you!
Where: Hastings Family Centre- 50 Hastings Blvd.
When: Tuesday afternoons, starting October 29th

In partnership with the Manitoba Metis Federation and Hastings Family Centre, this parent/child
program is for all Dads to attend with their children in a welcoming, judgement-free zone. A free
nutritious snack will be provided. Come out, meet some new Dads in your community, and learn
about some fun new activities to share with your little ones at home!

Groups for Newcomers

All Mosaic family programs are specially designed to meet the needs of newcomer participants. We offer language and cultural support, and quality child care. All of our programs are free. The program aims to encourage sharing and learning together. Participants also get to meet with newcomer parents and talk about being a parent in Canada. This is also a way for each parents to practice their English language skills through conversation circles. About Nobody’s Perfect Manitoba

NPP Manitoba is funded by Healthy Child Manitoba.

Provincial coordination of Nobody’s Perfect is the responsibility of a part-time coordinator with support and guidance from a Steering Committee. (Terms of Reference). The Steering committee meets 5 times a year usually in September, November, February, April and June. If you would like to attend a meeting or become involved, please contact the Coordinator.

Youville Centre Inc. administers the Provincial office at the Diabetes Education site at 33 Marion Street in Winnipeg. The Coordinator sits on Youville’s Family Health Team.

The Nobody’s Perfect facilitator training is for those with some previous experience and/or education in facilitating groups, in child development and working with families. Applicants should be comfortable with the basic principles of adult education, currently employed with a family support organization and should be passionate about supporting families who may be facing life’s challenging circumstances.

NPP Manitoba Facilitator Upcoming Professional Development:


A Professional Learning Day 2020… is for all family program facilitators; early years or community health educators, social workers or home visitors, coalition or NPP facilitators, & anyone else who works with families.

Nobody’s Perfect & Dad Central Manitoba want to help create a community of practice among all  family program practitioners. This learning day is our 8th bi-annual event, 2 of which Dad Central has been a partner. The goal of the learning day is:

  • To provide practical and innovative parent program facilitation ideas/strategies/adaptations
  • To expand knowledge on how to work with diverse groups of families and how to include fathers
  • To provide information and strategies to help parents living with mental health
  • To provide an opportunity for people to meet, experience, discuss, share & learn from one other

Participants will receive a certificate of participation.  NPP Facilitators you may use this as part of your active status professional development hours requirement.
