Program & Facilitator Information
Facilitators hold the key to the success of Nobody’s Perfect. They are the ones who draw parents into the program. Facilitators guide participants through a series of sessions that ideally lead to increased personal and child development awareness, parental effectiveness, and overall family support.
The Nobody’s Perfect facilitator training is a four-day training session, which covers the concepts and skills necessary to work with parents in a group setting. It is important for Nobody’s Perfect facilitators to receive training prior to implementing the program. Those who have not completed the facilitator training should not be offering the program.
The training covers:
- Key concepts of the program and materials
- Adult education principles
- Organizing and planning program sessions
- Developing and practicing facilitation skills
